After School TutoringThis program targets children in the immediate community and low-income families with children in grades K-8 who attend Columbus Public Schools that have not met the state standard for improvement on standardized tests. These tutoring sessions are conducted by certified State of Ohio teachers; masters-level teachers and college students who help students develop the skills they will need to pass the Ohio Achievement Tests in reading and math. Community for Change, Inc. is a supplemental educational service provider through No Child Left Behind for Columbus Public Schools. Tutoring begins in October. "I Believe in You" Summer Enrichment Camp
I Believe in You” is a dynamic, engaging learning and life skills summer camp that provides youth ages 10-15 with opportunities for personal growth, academic success, fitness and fun!
In just 6 weeks, campers will acquire learning skills in literacy, math, life skills, and other asset building fundamentals that will promote academic achievement, sound critical achievement, and responsible behavior. Field trips, nutritional education and fitness will also be an integral part of this exciting program.
Our summer camp is designed is to assist campers in achieving success, become self-motivated, confident, creative, good communicators and effective problem solvers. We are launching a new fitness and nutritional component designed to educate children about the importance of maintaining healthy eating behavior and habits through basic nutritional concepts and physical activities.

A Transformational Initiative that provides tools for incarcerated women behind the bars and beyond
Community For Change, Inc. through its Reentry Initiative begins inside correctional institutions and continues throughout an offender's transition to stabilization in the community. The goal is to provide creative tools for effective parenting and personal growth for parents who are incarcerated awaiting reentry and provide a vehicle for unification, nurturing and social development for children of incarcerated parents that would encourage personal responsibility and help ex-offenders face their past, and embrace hope for their future as a family.
